A project created in collaboration with agriculturalist Katharina Stuernagel about nettles and extracting their fibres.  In order to understand bast fibre processing we went through the different steps from harvesting, removing leaves, retting, separating fibre from wood, carding and creating rolags, olags, spinning and finally crocheting and knitting. This was a prohect about having fun with the plant, communal work and simply enjoying long and slow processes. It was also interesting to observe how our knowledge in agriculture and textiles/fashion complemented each other during the course of the project. In order to value the long process we created a booklet on the different steps.
